Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all clay shooting events organised by Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting.
By booking an event it is accepted that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions.

Booking and payment

A minimum £30 per person non refundable booking fee is required to secure your event, the balance to be paid 14 days prior to the event unless otherwise arranged.

Cancellation and refunds

(a) By the client. Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting must be notified of event cancellations and the following charges shall apply:
If more than 14 days notice is given there will be no additional charge, just loss of deposit.
Cancellations within 14 days after paying the balance will be charged at 50% of the total price.
There will be no reduction in price if the number of clients is reduced after the balance has been paid.
On the day of the event no refund will be given if a client does not take part due to non arrival, late arrival or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

(b) By Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting. We reserve the right to cancel the event if the balance of the total price has not been received 14 days prior to the event without alternative arrangementd being made.

Postponement or alteration to the event

Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting makes every effort to provide a professional service and reserves the right to change the date or venue (except where the venue is provided by the client or their agent) if this is necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
In the event of adverse weather conditions it may be necessary to postpone the event and make alternative arrangements at another agreed date or venue.

Liability of Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting

Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting will exercise all reasonable care during the event but will accept no liability whatsoever for any damage, loss or injury suffered by the client / guest or their property.

Alcohol, Drugs and the law

Under normal circumstances no alcohol shall be consumed or made available until after the cessation of all shooting events. Peak District Clay Pigeon Shooting and its staff has full authority to intervene if there is any suspicion about the mis-use of drugs or alcohol. Persons prohibited by law from holding a firearm will not be able to shoot under any circumstances and all participants will be asked to read and sign a statement of Section 21 of the Firearms Act to this effect.
All our venues have been inspected and passed by Derbyshire police firearms department and section 11/6 exemption certificates granted.

Additional information

Any persons under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.
Clay pigeon shooting is an outdoor activity therefore clothing and footwear suitable for time spent in the countryside is advisable.
